Rob –
Great lip moisturizer. The dry cold weather gets me every year. This product helped soothe my dry cracked lips. Note: I’m a lip balm veteran – used blistex, vaseline, etc.
Tina –
The grapefruit flavour is great! Very moisturizing and a little goes a long way.
Sarah –
The citrus flavour is really great! A little bit thick in consistency but a little does go a long way. My only note would be that I do need to reapply a little more frequently then I do with something like vaseline.
arsnovaarts –
I love shea butter, so I am already a fan but the added citrus & sunscreen won me over. A little goes a long way.
Yianna –
I really loved this product it helped me with my dry lips that tend to crack during the cold winters. I loved the smell of the actually product with it’s hint of citrus not being overwhelming. It’s great as a night time treatment to soften lips and improve dryness (considering it’s more towards the oily side I personally wouldn’t use it in the day time).
Andrew –
Had quite a strong scent to it that was a bit overpowering in my opinion. The Lip Balm itself felt great, had a smooth and refreshing texture. The smell I wasn’t a big fan about, I dont really want my friends to smell my lips
Rosie –
Love this lip balm. Not greasy and left my lips so soft. A little does go a long way.
I love the citrus scent. Not too overpowering.
Nay –
Not a huge fan of this, I personally find it does not go on smoothly, hard texture.
theopeirson1148 –
Compared to other nontoxic lip balms I have used, this one does not moisturize my lips well. Goes on nicely but must be applied often and left my lips feeling more dry later in the day. Smell in nice though.
Micheline –
Great scent, but I had to reapply quite often.
info –
I feel like it only coats my lips, but does not actually moisturize or sink in. I do enjoy the smell, but find I have to reapply too often.
Debbie –
as far as balms go, i think this one is pretty good. using it in winter is really a test, and its moisturizing effect lasts longer than my burt’s bees plus it’s not sticky like glosses, nor is it too shiny. the citrus smells great too!
amandastewart0 –
I tried the ‘Kiss me Canadian’ flavour and really loved the scent. The texture was a little thick, but it would definitely stay on through eating/drinking.
Ruchi –
The peppermint one smells a lot like shea butter and only a little minty, but it was nice and neutral. My lips felt a little tingly when I first applied it, but it softened my lips really quick! The texture feels like any other lip balm imo
Yuka P –
The citrus flavor smells okay. I’m using it in the winter but I think it’s better for the summer. It goes on a bit thin/oily and doesn’t stay on for very long, so lots of reapplying. It’s a fine lip balm if your lips aren’t prone to dryness.
Mareesa –
I frequently fancy citrus scented lip balms but the maple cinnamon scent is different but nice. Reminds me of cinnamon hearts minus the heat. Happy that it also has natural UV protection.
Cheryl –
I tried the “kiss me Canadian” and found the cinamon to be a bit strong for me. The lip balm was nicely moisturizing and if you like lip plumpening lip balm this might be great for you.
Sara –
Great moisturizing balm with nice flavour! I gave it 4* because I wish it would last a bit longer and found I was re-applying quite a bit.
joanne lam –
I love this lip balm! It smells nice and works well for me. Our whole family uses it.
Debbie –
Moisturizing and smells nice. Doesn’t last as long as some of the other shea butter lip care I’ve used.
Ola –
I had the Canadian cinnamon one.. it smelled great but I didn’t like it and threw away my sample. My lips were a little chapped from the cold weather and when I applied it burned my lips and was very uncomfortable. I wiped it off and threw it away 🙁
Rachel Starkman –
The product smells nice and feels smooth to the touch, however it was moisturizing enough for my lips this winter. I found myself re-applying multiple times without ever achieving the level of moisture I was hoping for.
Amelia –
Loved the moisturizer. Thicker consistency compared to most lip moisturizers which I liked because I felt you didn’t need a lot and it lasted longer.
Maya –
Liked the quality and texture. Don’t need much to get lip moisture 🙂
Tianpei –
The butter is pretty dense, but a few seconds after applied to my lips it became watery & moisturizing. I enjoyed it.
Sarah Jane –
Tried the “Kiss Me Canadian” and I loved the scent! Reminded me of the old school Big Red stick gum- brought back some great childhood memories. However, I didn’t find it as good of a lip moisturizer. It goes on nice and smooth, but it doesn’t seem to really sink
in for a deep moisturizing. Winter dries out my lips and I often get deep cracks and splits and this lip balm didn’t help or ease any of my discomfort. I had to reapply often and my chapped lips did not go away. The cinnamon flavour gave a nice little tingle when first applied, but it didn’t last very long.
Nancy –
Love that this is made with organic shea butter and has natural UV protection from the cinnamic acid. It has a moderate scent reminiscent of cinnamon hearts and goes on smoothly but needs frequent re-application.
Audra –
Great lip moisturizer!!! Worth it!
Kimmy –
My lips do not respond well to shea butter (but my body is fine with it!). The texture of this lip balm is great, the scent is lovely and the ingredients can’t get any better. Too bad I can’t use shea butter on my lips. If you don’t have the same problem as me, give this a try!
Rachel Pentecostes –
Maple Cinnamon flavour was good. It stung my lip a but it’s probably because I had chappy lips to begin with due to the weather. Once the balm settled it felt really soft and kept my lips moisturized for a few hours. I would certainly buy this product.
nicole.dufraine –
Tried the ‘Kiss Me Canadian’ flavour – smells amazing, loved the texture – goes on smooth and moisturizes well. The tingling sensation from the cinnamon is a bit strong though.
Sarah Healy –
Very moisturizing and smooth, great for chapped lips. I wasn’t a fan of the cinnamon flavour but I like the level of moisture it gave me. I would be interested to try the grapefruit flavour.
Nina –
I really like this lip moisturizer! It lathers on very thick and is especially great in the winter time. My only caution is that it is more of a surface skin solution verses a deep moisturizer.
ssynxkar –
Smells nice and is hydrating.
Epiphanie Grenier –
Très bon baume à lèvre, qui ne fond pas assez vite à mon gout mais cela serait le seul inconveignant.
Ali –
This lip balm has a lovely scent and was easy to apply. My only issue is that I didn’t feel it kept my lips moisturized. I had to apply often, and my lips felt dry quickly.
susannecheng89 –
Like the tingling feeling when I applied it. I think it was the cinnamon one. Not the best one I have tried though
Meghan –
The mint flavour was great. It left my lips feeling moisturized all through this winter. The only downside was it didn’t spread on as easy as I would have liked.
Melanie –
Super long-lasting
Calvin –
The peppermint flavour is really great simply because of the sensation it leaves. When the lip balm first touched my lips, it melted like butter and it felt very smooth. After a while, it leaves a minty feeling over my lips which feels very refreshing and moisturizes my lips very well. Overall, I really enjoyed this product.
Jay –
Is it possible for my lips to reject shea butter? I love the way it makes my lips feel, love the smell, and love that it is Canadian! BUT it doesn’t have long lasting power…and my lips seems to need more nourishment because of this lipbalm. I dunno.
Having said all that, I love the company and love the “Shea Lav” shea butter for my body!
Vivian –
Tried the peppermint flavour. Didn’t think I would like this because I don’t normally like mint… but I was wrong. The smell is a bit strong at first, and I had to reapply a couple of times since it absorbed too quickly. It isn’t as hydrating as other lip balms I have tried, but it does leave a cool sensation.
gillian.michelle.thomas –
I tried this in the Maple Cinnamon (Kiss Me Canadian) as well as the Peppermint and really enjoyed both. It is very hydrating for dry or chapped lips and lasts for hours without needing re-application.
gillian.michelle.thomas –
I really like this lip balm! The mint scent is very refreshing. With other brands like EOS, I find myself needing to re-apply hourly, but this lip balm was hydrating enough to last for hours without re-application.
Percy –
I normally don’t like the burning sensation of mint. But this mint flavour was subtle, didn’t feel like a gimmick that makes my lips feel pouty. Im impressed it o ly had 4 ingredients – all of which I can pronounce
Biscuit –
The She Lips Peppermint was quite nice. It left my lips feeling minty, shiny and moisturized. I would use this product again.
Daniela –
It was a decent lip balm but I really didn’t like the maple cinnamon flavour. I didn’t get any maple flavour, all I got was cinnamon which was just not appealing to me. A good lip balm, but the flavour was way off.
Laura –
The peppermint one was a bit stiff and had to be softened on my lips before I could spread it around. However, the smell was delightful and after having it on for one night, my lips felt softer and not at all dry the next morning!
Katharine –
The moistuizer itself is great as I am a big fan of shea butter, however the “Canadian” smell is awful and way too overpowering.
Tania –
The citrus was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. My lips are very sensitive so I was happy that they didn’t react badly, but I wouldn’t switch from what I currently use
Tessa –
So silky! Smells amazing! I constantly find myself applying it even when my lips aren’t chapped, simply because I love it so much!
AM –
Love this lip balm!! Really moisturizing & not watery.
Cassidy –
Really nice! It warmed and melted in my hands easily, which I love.
Alli –
Smells great and feels good on lips, but a bit hard (went on better if put on with your finger) and had to reapply often.
Nancy Rowe –
Shea Lips Peppermint:
Loved this product, left my lips soft and smell is wonderful
Deanne Kearney –
Perfect! Great moisturizing lip balm. Smells and feels great.
Tisha Islam –
This product is amazing. My lips get dried very quick. But using this kept them moisturized at all times. It is very long lasting and u don’t have to retouch it very often. its taste and smell is also amazing. Overall it is a great product.
Krysta –
Love the scent and this product goes on really smoothly. Very moisturizing and rich
